Summer 91

SUMMER 91
There she was, just a-minding her business
Mowing the lawn, rolling the hay
She was wearing nothing but trouble
Her hair so white her thongs so black
There I was, just a soldier in a foxhole
Staying alive with an AK47
I was there to protect her from the war
From whom I don't know but she wasn't gonna fall
No! She wasn’t gonna fall!
She came close watching my gun
Maybe afraid but somehow assured
That I will be there in case it goes bad
After all she was alone in a war
I promised her I would stay with her forever
She said that she was all too young
I promised I would wait for her
But I was sent away and never came back
No! I never came back!
It was summer 91
She was only 17
20 years later I met another girl
Nothing but trouble and looking like her
She was 19, her father was unknown
A hero a soldier her mother used to know
She moved to America after she was born
Daddy ain't coming, lost in the war
She was 21 when the bombers hit the town
And the soldier in the foxhole never came home.
No! Never came home!
It was summer 91
She was only 17

Something to believe in

SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN
Big Father Big Brother and painted stigmata
Show them the truth and they call you a liar
Trusting their TV and cry like your mother
Watching the brainwash believe like no other
You're evil and Satan because you dress wrong
You're addict a dealer you're not gonna be long
You 'ave syphilis and aids because you play rock
They hide their daughters 'coz you rape them all
They LIE and they STINK
Like no HELL had stench before
Give me something to believe in
GIVE ME SOMETHING, GIVE ME SOMETHING
Give me something to believe in
Give me something to believe in
You fight take a stand let them have it no more
Your hands in the air, make Satan your whore
Your pride is your power they stand there in awe
With steel and with fire next blood will be yours
They LIE and they STINK
Like no HELL had stench before
Give me something to believe in
GIVE ME SOMETHING, GIVE ME SOMETHING
Give me something to believe in
Give me something to believe in
They li-e and they sti-ink li-ke no hell
Ha-ad stench before give me something
Give me something to believe in something
Give me something to believe in
They LIE and they STINK
Like no HELL had stench before
Give me something to believe in
GIVE ME SOMETHING, GIVE ME SOMETHING
Give me something to believe in
Give me something to believe in
With steel and with fire next blood will be yours!

Demons

DEMONS
They are showing you the way
Washing your brain to be a slave
But you have voices in your head
Saying your brain ain't dead – YET!
THE VOICES are not really demons
What you call them 's all the same
They call you worshipper of devil
Maybe it's better that way
Sometimes it is better to be insane
Sometimes it is better to be insane
Otherwise you go crazy
To keep your demons happy
You must be true to yourself
You must be true to your friends
And don't care to what others say
IN THE WORLD of propaganda
Fighting was on other continents
You're better off totally insane
And don't believe a word they say
Sometimes it is better to be insane
Sometimes it is better to be insane
Otherwise you go crazy
SOMETIMES SOMETIMES SOMETIMES …
YOU DO with your life whatever you want
BUT remember always what keeps you afloat
YOUR DEMONS that keep you awake at night
The only guardians of your insane mind
TO KEEP YOUR DEMONS happy
You must be true to yourself
You must be true to your friends
And don't care to what others say
Sometimes it is better to be insane
Sometimes it is better to be insane
Otherwise you go crazy

Voices of Verdun

VOICES OF VERDUN
As I walk through the shadows of the valley of death
I see no evil - there is no evil
There's carnival and lots of people
But not so far away there's fields of crosses laid
And on top of them among all dead
A silent monument
Hundred-thirty thousand
bones of boys and men unknown!
That's the message you should get
When you see Verdun!
I walked up to memorial with bones of those unknown
And a single skull looked at me
On a pile of bones
His hollow eyes screamed injustice, his skull looked at me
After so many lonely years
Would you please tell me my name?
Hundred-thirty thousand
bones of boys and men unknown!
That's the message you should get
When you see Verdun!
Quarter-million died
Half - unidentified
Before you start again
Give'em back their names!

Ghosts on the river
06:24

GHOST ON A RIVER
A river that I know
Deep in the mountains
Silently she flows
Lost in all her thoughts
Memories of war
And of so much violence
They won't go away
They flow through the waves
There's a mountain road
Twisting silently now
And it opens views
Like stairway to heaven
But in days ago
It was prisoner's hell
They were slaves and they died in cold
She's so cold
When you try to touch her
Like hands
Of so many ghosts
Embrace
Your heart and soul
There's untold
So much pain and sorrow
They gave command
Gas them down like rats
And machine guns roared
Bodies remained
Million souls were lost
100 years will pass
Something in the air
Maybe it is the weather
Something in the earth
Soiled with so much blood
Something as it flows
Invites you down below
This is the ghost
Of the souls that were lost
Generals they gave their fuckin' command
And machine guns mowed down them like grass
Bodies remained of a million souls
Years will have passed and the river flows

This is a story about a mother
About a mother and her daughters
She was all alone and then
Everything was gone
Her man was not around WHEN!
Airplanes bombed the town
They ran and tried to hide
In a basement of a house
The others ran there too the bomber saw them move
He dropped his load and no one moaned the loss of three young girls
When the war was over her husband came from prison camp
He found his wife and two young girls forgotten in a mass of bones
She was 21
Only 21
She was all alone
They were piled together WITH!
Other legs and bones
They were buried in a grave
That no one knows or moans
They are all the same now
Women men and daughters
Laying in their grave now silent
Witnesses of slaughter
The others ran there…
She was 21…
If I was their man
I'd be there for them
I'd hold them in my hands
And we all would be dead
If I was their man
I’d be there for them
The others ran there…
She was 21…

LICENSE TO SARCASM
He was a NATO boy, she was a Russian girl
He was a gentleman she was an officer
They were in love
She'd make him march all day, he'd take her for a ride
She would have come six times he'd do it all the night
She would be dangerous he would have saved us all!
James Bond
Double-oh-seven license to kill
Double-oh-seven license to Sarcasm
One day M gave command for Country and the Crown
She was so confused and he was not amused
He shot her in the head
He poured himself a drink, martini as usual
Not to forget his dear Russian soldier girl
He poured some vodka in with his nervous hands -
Shaken, not stirred!
James Bond...
He was Nato boy, she was a Russian girl
He was a gentleman, she was an officer
He would have done his best she would have kicked his ass
They were in love

We are at war

WE ARE AT WAR
For country and Jesus
For god and diesel
We are fighting a war
We're going to conquer
Another country
And there will be no more
The President told us that it's patriotic
If somebody stands on our way
To smash them and burn them and make them all suffer
And free them from their precious oil
We are at war with the world
We're at war, we're at yo ho ho ho
We slay all the natives
Who won't give up their oil
We call them terrorists
We civilise the Indians
We thrash them with our tanks
Until they all sign to agree
People are starving they're all skin and bones
They're going to die anyway
We thrash all their villages looking for oil
We find and we kill them all!
We are at war with the world
We're at war, we're at yo ho ho ho

Generations in blood
04:51
|

GENERATIONS IN BLOOD
In a ritual of life
We've got to go to war
To fight and bleed
For the generation of young
It seems that every father, mother
Was born in a ritual of blood
To breathe the air
Their dying fathers exhailed
Seems my death is your life
And you'll die for your child
It's a ritual of death
That's how the world is made
The blood must never stop
Bleed for those to come!
I will show you the way
You will see the bloody trail
The blood must never stop
You will bleed for those to come
It's a ritual of death
That's how the world is made
We bravely endure the pain
Of death so our children remain
Continue the circle, Lord
Thy will be done
You bleed for your children
So they bleed some more for theirs
Seems my death is your life
And you'll die for your child
It's a ritual of death
That's how the world is made
The blood must never stop
Bleed for those to come!
I will show you the way
You will see the bloody trail
The blood must never stop
You will bleed for those to come

Surrender

SURRENDER
Surrender to the little girl
She's gonna spin your little world
She's gonna conquer, you just watch her
She's going to end your little war.
She'll drill you with an M-16
Even though she's just 15
You make her laugh
She spills your guts
Your darling young Eileen.
Surrender, surrender, the war is over
Surrender, surrender, the girl takes over
Surrender, surrender, the war is over
Surrender!
Surrender to the little girl
She's gotta big machine gun
You're in her way, you'll die today
Girl, she's gonna have fun
It's not like in the movies
Where everything's so groovy
Those bullets hurt, your blood will squirt
And you will cry for mommy.
Surrender...
Devil is a little girl Are you afraid?
A little angel makes you well Are you scared?
But there is a price to pay You will be dead!
In the end you go to hell
You can grin and show your teeth, you can!
You can look like a beast and stink like hell
But the worst evil comes in a package of beauty
Soft skin hot lips hard tits and you don't even notice
How you bleed!
Surrender...
Devil is a...
You can...

Sarcasm Kranj, Slovenia
Sarcasm was formed in 1987 in the golden days of thrash metal in Ex-Yugoslavia. With an exeption of a few years in the 90's when we had no place to play and we took some time to sort out our lives, we've been thrashing continuously until this day.
